  • @Playroute66....This is that wonderful place in between the world of Hank Williams and the world of Glen Miller that is categorized as Western Swing! Yes...you're right, it is swing...and yes it is good ol' American "country" too. And all of it, no matter what label you put on it...is essentially a form of jump blues with a different flavor of spice on it, when played at this tempo. Slow it way down and you make a waltz or a Texas two-step out of it too. It's all good!
