A flash flood in Nachal Kedem in the Judean Desert flowing into the Dead Sea on April 4, 2011. A normally dry creek (nachal) can become inundated with a flash flood in a matter of minutes when it rains miles away in the Judean mountains. King David compared God making him victorious in battle against the Philistines to the sudden might and power of a flash flood:
"Yehovah has burst forth upon my enemies before me like the waters burst forth." 2 Samuel 5:20.
Thanks for posting this. Beautiful. Like moving mountains to the sea.

Why doesn't Israel build a dam and use the water collected during the dry season?
