In the insurance industry we know it's Comprehensive and Collision, but in the real world, everyone including the finance company call it Full Coverage. I don't know why since it's a little miss leading. I guess it started with a agent like how mother's day, father's day and valentine day was created by the cards maker to sell more cards. I guess agents would says full coverage just because it sounds good and better Comp and Collision. I always tell my clients the correct term.

this is completely wrong...Required are Comprehensive: for Other than collision as theft, and collision for coverage involving another vehicle, theirs no such thing as full coverage just lines of insurance that are sold...
