Pure idiocy: Both the American Petroleum Institute and the U.S. Energy Information Administration have said repeatedly that it would take years, probably decades, to start producing oil from any new offshore leases, and even after the oil was flowing the effect on prices would be negligible. The Republican party is trying to delude people once again. Palin is a fool, and so is anyone who believes anything she says.
