@coreygames Yes thank you. Yeah, I am not a fan of mtc's lack of citation. Would it have made a difference in regards to the validity of his claims to me? No...so i don't have a big prob with the missing citation...but I loathe the judgmental, condemning nature of this video. It seems to me very weasel like. Character assassins suck.

And perhaps I can see the pettiness in calling some random video poster out on not citing a source on a video that most anyone does care about. This person took some information and presented it as his own. The person that made this video pointed that out, in a rather blatantly accusing way, in order to show the dishonesty they perceived. He cared enough to make a video, and, though I may not agree entirely with the way it was presented, I can't argue with what he's saying. Ok?

@coreygames LOL or perhaps you are being petty and i do value honesty. Maybe i can HONESTLY see that mtc was disingenuous in not citing his source. Am I gonna make a video calling him a plagiarizer? No..Why you ask? 1)Because im not a petty little bitch. Maybe i can HONESTLY see the character assassination attempt in this video that nobody else seems to mention. It's YOUTUBE dammit, a place where ppl share ideas and thoughts(alot of times it's not their own) Who cares.

Perhaps I'm not being petty and you just don't value honesty. Inside or outside of an academic setting, if you can't be forthright with where you are COPYING AND PASTING information from, then you don't deserve any of the credit, attention, subscriptions, thumbs up, etc. that comes with it.
I'll stop whining about sources when I stop caring about it. Tell me why we should abandon intellectual and artistic integrity and I might find reason to drop my issue.

@coreygames The gulf of Mexico example does not apply to mtc's video at all. Also, If mtc had sited his source and you went back and searched would it honestly weigh in judging the claims validity? Stop being petty coreygames we're better than that. Just deal with the b.s. in his argument and stop whining about sources as this in not even an academic setting.

@coreygames The man is talking about aspects of a religious point of view he adheres to.The sourse to me is irrelevant.Listen to it if you want to and judge for yourself if you want to take it.Youtube is not an academic setting so if you're coming here for academia this is probably not a good place.FYI, my point of view is irrelevant. It's just i have no prob calling out petty issues and attempts at character assassination from our side as well.We need deal with the argument and stop being petty

Because it is only a truthful statement in hindsight. Take the Gulf of Mexico example again. You heard that there was a whirlpool and told me about it. In order for me to find out if it is true, I have to do YOUR research before YOU can find out if what you are saying is true. To make this even more relative, if you had told me the source of your rumor, it may have greatly helped in the effort of discerning what is true or not. Does that clarify what I'm saying a bit more?

Asking someone to be honest about their sources is redundant? How hard is it to just put a link in the description box and show your work? The contention in this video is more with the integrity of the presentation, not the substance of the content.
Also, nice generalizing atheists. I'm sure projecting atheists as a collection of close-minded reactionaries helps keep your particular point of view secure. Oh crap, now I'm doing it too...
