Loxosceles reclusa; the Brown Recluse Spider is one nasty arachnid to avoid. Its venom contains the potent tissue-destroying dermonecrotic agent, sphingomyelinase D.

My dad's house used to be infested with brown recluse spiders! I remember having to shake out my shoes, pillow case, sheets, and blankets every night. Luckily, I wasn't bitten. This is a really good video! Just be aware;)

i was camping in new york and i walked out the back door in my cabin to take a piss and i turned around mid stream only to see one of these fuckers right above the door... needless to say it scared the piss outa me. i snuck back inside through the side door and came back and killed it with a golf club. i slept in the car that night...

I live in BC and killed one of these things. scared the shit out of me because they are not supposed to be up this far north. it was a huge one too. I had to kill it with a college text book thrown from across the apartment because I flipped my shit hen I saw it and ran panicking into my bathroom. after calming down I was able to slowly sneak out to grab my book and kill the bastard.

I killed one of these bastards in my garage yesterday, so today I go back in there armed with massive pesticides and glue traps. I'm also firing my pest control company and going with one that kills everything...except me.
