Party Invitation for 1st "Save PWC's Economy" Party (4-4-08)

While filming for 9500 Liberty, we have begun to see the true impact of the infamous Immigration Resolution -- a major blow to Prince William County economy. The exodus of immigrants and other people of color from Prince William has led to a domino effect of failing businesses.

We caught up with Manuel Arbaiza, owner of Portal Restaurant in Woodbridge, VA. He is a legal citizen (although we know he "looks illegal" to some of our viewers) whose business is suffering since many of his clients have fled.

We decided to host a party at Manuel's restaurant to try to help him stay afloat, and also promote a sense of community in Prince William County in spite of all the political and ethnic tension. Please join us this on Friday April 4th at

That's too bad. It was the best party I've ever been to. Great food, amazing company, incredible conversations...I thought I was dreaming. (Had only 1 margarita.) We will do another party on April 18th. We'll start looking for another struggling restaurant in Prince William. Any recommendation?
