This junction has to be from 1979/80, the last of the five school years when Mathshow was shown, but the only year it seems to have started at 9.47 am. Assuming that the order of episodes' transmission remained the same as it was on the first showing in 1975/76, this has to be Thursday 7th February 1980, with Malcolm Eynon announcing. It's fantastic to see this - if I made the keying as rough as this on a recreation I'd be worried people would think I was overdoing it, even though it's just how I remember it. The second hand never even lines up with the 12, which is wonderful. I love the way the announcer is momentarily unsure of the time too!
