@ doomelf, thanks for the invite, sadly between my health and the many miles from Tn. to Wa. I just can't afford it although I will be there in spirit. Much Love to all the free spirits.

Has there been any discussion about a return to Colorado for the 40th Anniversary Rainbow Gathering in 2012?

Nice. Let us be the sign that Spirit is returning. Was this really the first one?

Granby, Colorado, you know, the greatest hero in the world lived there. Yup, his name was Marvin Heemeyer

I was there! Louie and I hitch hiked from Detroit that summer heading for Colorado and on to Las Vegas for reasons I will not divulge. We heard about this gathering along the way.
When we got there we walked the 8 miles up to the meadow. We camped just across from the Rainbow kitchen. The first night there were too many campfires and little to no breeze. It became a little hectic until communal fires were organized. How I don't remember for sure. I did some windowpane. But I was there! Hank~

cool
Grandfather David Monongye was one of three Hopi elders instructed to share the Hopi prophecies with the non-Indian world in order to save it from self-destruction. The purpose was to warn, instruct & awaken. Grandfather attended one early Rainbow Gathering in New Mexico. I traveled with him and Thomas Banyacya. They inspired my life work. Their message resonates with indigenous voices everywhere. I traveled with "Ancient Prophecies Future Visions" slide show.
