It's funny when they put those behind the scenes videos in GoW3 telling GoW3 is supposed to end the franchise.

PS3 just got God of War: Ascension, there won't be another God of War made for the PS3.

We can't have GoW 7 until we have 4,5,6 first :P I think GoW 4 will be a start of a new trilogy, we'll see 4 & 5 during the PS4 generation and two spin off games for the PS Vita.

Remember every Sony console since the PSP has had 2 GoW games on it, PS2 = GoW 1 & 2, PSP = CoO & GoS, PS3 = GoW 3 & Ascension. Expect that cycle to continue.
