@FluidDeconstructor If it's that difficult for you to avoid clicking on the clearly labeled music videos, then I might suggest unsubscribing to save yourself the stress you are no doubt caused by the unknown forces that apparently compel you to click the video and then to comment on it.

Yes, you really nailed it! Reminds me of Gould.

Have you played the quodlibet (variation 30) as well? It basically uses the same tune, but with a second piece incorporated.

I'm sorry now that I mentioned in another comment section the "dryness" of the electric keyboard. To tell the truth, Bach sounds pretty good this way, because the instrument he used was less like a modern piano than the electric keyboard. The music itself is precise and elegant, and you play it very well. Thanks for sharing this.

one of my life goals...to play Bach Goldberg Variations before I go...so far I think no.1 not too bad :)...since I'm now over 50 they better get going on stem cell research

Very precise but where's La Passion del Soul. I'm not feeling the love here Yohandjob Bastian Baaach. Too mechanical. Mijo.

"Fughetta 'bout it" as my gangster-pianist neighbour says.

I'm watching this with the 1911 filter. It amuses me, so.

Well, as soon as you build your harpsichord, you can donate that sweet keyboard to the Obtusesage Charity Drive.

Hars sounding :/
That's great! I always have trouble with counterpoint. I hate it! XP Is that a yamaha s-90? I recognize it because it looks a lot like my yamaha s-08. Great job! :)

@gustjorodedheo It is an S90. How can you hate counterpoint? I love it! Well, writing it is a bit of a pain, but listening to it is great....

What are the colored numbers for?
Morphis 11 months ago
@Morphis Every time the subject (that melody that the left hand plays unaccompanied at the beginning) repeats itself, I put a number that describes how many voices are playing (a voice is a distinct melodic part). At the most there are four voices at once in this piece, and I think the numbers help to highlight the entrance of each new voice.

New keyboard? What other sounds can you get out of it besides piano?

@zarkoff45 I've had it for years, it has lots of sounds.
