I am a Republican here in NJ but I strongly dislike this person's character. He has an obnoxious attitude.

I voted for Obama in '08. I'm a citizen of NJ, and I voted independent in the last gubernatorial election. I have to say, Christie is the first politician I have seen in my lifetime that actually cares more about doing what is right than what is politically easy. I will vote for this man in any election where his name appears on the ballot.

Stimulus $ that went to NJ increased our deficit & just pushed the problems from the Corzine admin over to Christie admin. In other words, it DID NOTHING to fix any problems, it just delayed the inevitable. You can just keep doing business as usual just because liberals throw $ at everything as though that's going to change anything for any sig. time period.

@iuseapowermacg4 They're liberals. They say someone has a bad temper if they raise their voice. They hate Christie for telling people the truth about the way things are rather than pretending there's an endless, ever-increasing supply of money to be given away. Yet, it's okay for the teacher's union to pray for Christie's death.

Christie is great and his direct and honest manner is a refreshing change. Anyone who besmirches him for this is obviously part of the problem and not the solution.
