Deemed sacred by indigenous Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort and Spa has been a gathering place and a source of healing for hundreds, even thousands of years. Come retreat to our secluded refuge. Relax with a massage and our signature Milagro Wrap. Rejuvenate in our legendary waters.
Steeped in myth and legend, these ancient springs have been a gathering place and source of healing for hundreds, even thousands of years. The use of the waters can be traced back to the earliest human settlements in the region. Ancient people, believed to be the ancestors of todays Native American Tewa tribes, built large pueblos and terraced gardens overlooking the springs. Posi or Poseuinge, village at the place of the green bubbling hot springs was home to thousands of people

  • its funny how whites kill 95% of the Native Americans and then talk about how much American they are more than the so called Mexicans....

  • We have visited Ojo many times. It is beyond words - a rare jewel in New Mexico removed from the fast pace of life with no connection to the outside world (unless you must). Very peaceful. A time to settle in, unwind, leave your cares behind, and enjoy the four different mineral pools (both mineral content and temperature). The hot pool is HOT! You can bask in hot water or take a nap in one of the wonderful hammocks. You'll want to return again and again and again and again...
