You are not looking close enough I think. Why don't you ask him directly? I could have a British accent if I so choose, or a Mexican one, or a German one, or an American one and so on but that doesn't determine my nationality. Nationality may be determined not only by place of birth, but also by blood and ancestry.

He was born and brought up in london, UK! He markets his salsa as London Style Salsa. Check out the accent. Not very trinidad and tobago!

Al Espinosa mentions references to his other Dvd's at every opportunity. It's a normal thing.

Unfortunately, I am not the kind of person to film anything, which is why I did not post this clip and why I was looking for footage in the first place. But come, on go figure. If they want people to buy his videos why on earth would they put his workshops for free on utube?

He's actually from Trinidad and Tobago and its quite normal for such artists to plug their videos. Its just part of how they make a living. You would be surprised to see howmany people are dying to get their hands on his videos.

During his workshop, he specifically asked everyone to refrain from posting his workshop on youtube when he allowed us to film him. Out of respect and hopes that he will come back to houston again, I decided not to post his workshop.
