If he just happened to be muslim but still committed the shootings for the exact same reasons under the exact same circumstances, people would be calling it terrorism without question. A white non-muslim person cannot be a terrorist according to the media. Here lies the disparity.

I think you should check the definition of terrorism. Terrorism is the use of fear as a weapon to push a political agenda. Using violence may cause fear, but the agenda is unclear. If he wanted to make people afraid to go into a public place then you could classify this as terrorism.

Take a step back and look at the big picture.

Somebody went into a public place and killed many RANDOM people for the soul intention of causing hurt and disparity.

To even ask if that was anything less than terrorism is idiotic.

I kind of disagree with Cenk. The Trolley square shooting in Salt Lake City was done by a Muslin and I nver heard it called terrorism.

Also strange that their is no 100 percent clear cut definition of terrorism because each place has their own guidelines regarding it.

And yet black on black shootings happen everyday in Chicago and Detroit. But that don't get much media press time because liberals and jews protecting their pets.

I don't think it was terrorism, terrorism usually is part of goals and ideology I don't think shooting people in a theater and calling himself the joker is terrorism. Just a mentally disturbed person who slipped through the cracks and was probably brainwashed by government to shoot people so when the UN gun ban comes to the table, it can get passed easily. Strange the shooting happening days before it was to be signed. And all shootings happening after the date.
