A video for the FBLA partnered charity organization, March of Dimes

A submission by Cupertino High School FBLA.
The board for the greenscreen was a piece of scrapwood from our drama department.
The green paint was $10/gallon from home depot (but you really only need a quart), just ask them to use the cheap base rather than the real one. The color will be a bit off, but its muct cheaper.
Philip Chang was an actual premature baby, and is a friend to many of our FBLA Chapter members.
The beginning scene is supposed to demonstrate childbirth, but unfortunately, most people thought otherwise.
Music is from Sonicfire, and therefore royalty free.
A yellow tint is added throughout the film to create a warmer feel.
The entire audio of the film (except two lines) was recorded before I realize that the 'line-in' port doesn't connect to the mic pre-amp, so the audio would sound a bit distorted if you listen carefully.
When we released the balloons at the end, we didn't anticipate wind, therefore that scene was a bit of a disappointment.

  • wow. your cool.

  • what did you use to edit this?

  • Very nice stuff. Everything flows well like a nice PSA (Public Service Announcement). Nice job on the green screen. I'm interested myself in playing around with different materials for a green screen--that should be fun. Liking the effects and music that goes along. Its nice to see your using sonicfire. What equipment specificly did you happen to use? Other than that, good work! Looking forward to seeing your other work.

  • yea, i agree about the beginning scene.
