If Brains always wins over Brawn why is Superman still alive when 70 percent of his Rogues gallery is filled with highly intelligent villians who are itching to kill him? Brainiac? Luthor? Prankster? Toyman? Those guys aren't hurting in the brains department yet Superman still defeats them by beating them at there own game. The whole Batman is smarter the Superman is just fanboy bull.

@Fenris30 %100 Agreed. The whole batman is smarter than superman thing started wtih JL and JLU. Before that superman was smarter than anyone else. Even Luthor.

I hate how writers sometimes have Batman beat Superman on fights. I mean isn't Batman supposed to be the underdog who we can all relate to. I mean how can you relate to someone who is always prepared, and can beat an alien with god-like powers. Batman used to be so cool, until the writers and fans turned him into "Bat-God".

@Fenris30 braniniac, luthor, prankster, toyman are all men who think in order to defeat superman they have to use physical might to win against him in the form of machines, gimmicky devices, kidnapping. + prankster and toyman arent even a threat (exploding whoopee cushions.....seriously?) basing your entire arsenal and artillery on "who framed Rodger Rabit" hardly makes you a genius.

@Drwhodunnit1973 His plan was never to beat Superman anyway. He himself admitted that if Superman REALLY wanted to kill him, he would. Easily. But Superman's will held out long enough for Batman to snap Superman out.
