love the fact that the ad at the beginning was for Nike Covert driver, makes perfect sense. Hell they're all longer, add an inch to the shaft and instant distance, hype at it's best.

You should try the Trinity. I had the same experience with the Black Tie. Harder to keep the Black Tie loaded through the swing, but the Trinity is much smoother through impact. I could always feel where the head-lag was through the swing. I had no feel with the Matrix Black Tie.

Just bought the 3 wood with the trinity shaft, spent a while at the range with it, and it is unbelieveable!!! I'm hitting almost as long as my driver, with much more control of direction. Miss hits are going 230-240 with solid hits in the high 270 yard range and on the same solid driver hit I'd be maybe 285-290, but this club is so much more consistant. I may leave the R11 in the bag, or go out and demo a Callaway driver. WOW I can't wait for the weather to break to get out on the course.

My swing speed is 115 to 125. I hit the matrix 7m3. It hits accurate & pretty long but it feels like a board boardy when you hit it. I have not hit the trinity shaft but hit the aldila rip alpha x flex & its one of my favorite shafts same with the voodoo xnv6 really good shaft.
