the large arch in michigan was actually built by my uncle eric with help from gordon grant and brian nish all from scotland.the arch weighed 100 tons

Thanks for this film. Brilliant - will definitely buy this. We just heard A.G. lecture for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park here in England. He was doing the slide-show for no fee. And he gave the presentation with bad flu - so grateful he didn't cancel! Inspirational.

Good question about feeling imprisoned! Especially with all the power tools and whatnot being used. I've only seen Goldsworthy using natural or simple tools, so I'd love to hear his thoughts on this piece.

Cool, thanks for the response. What a great gig! I more meant, with most of his work being out in an endless landscape, did he (or your bro or dad, for that matter) feel imprisoned inside the building. Do your bro or you dad feel like working with Andy has changed or inspired them in significant ways? thanks again for taking the time to respond, and for posting the video to being with!
