Alia Salem, a DFW representative of the Islamic Speaker's Bureau, spoke at the panel "Ending the Cycles of Violence: Reflections on Compassion, Forgiveness and Healing" at SMU's McCord Auditorium on Sept. 9, 2011. The panel discussion was co-sponsored by the Dallas Peace Center and the Embrey Human Rights Program.
