There is nothing like this DVD in the archery world. Buy it online at http://www.pse-archery.com/prod.php?k=135505&u=41562 or ask your local dealer for PSE's Bow Setup DVD. This DVD is excellent for any bow owner that wants to truly understand and master his equipment. It is also very successful for archery shop employee training and is completely user friendly. Even if you don't know anything about compound bows, it is possible to study this DVD and come out with a wealth of knowledge, perhaps more extensive than some advanced archers.
Pulled from our new Bow Setup DVD, this section of the video addresses advanced wheel timing! From here a viewer has the choice to explore a step-by-step explanation of how to set up a bow. The DVD is designed so the viewer can take bow setup one step at a time, jump back and forth between certain setup videos and our archery glossary, switch back and forth from basic to advanced or vice versa as needed, and at the end, we give you the worlds only paper tuning troubleshooting guide. We walk you through the process and then provide you with an interactive menu that allows you to shoot the paper and select the tear pattern that applies to you. When it's all said and done, your bow should be set up just as good as the engineers who made them.
@donepearce Notice that she says on a twin cam bow, when you draw the bow, both cams must roll over at precisely the same time. Meaning, that they rotate in sync... one doesn't arrive at the final position before the other one.
Therefore, this has everything to do with timing. Especially during a shot otherwise one cam will pull the string asymmetrically (and noc) because it "let off" earlier than the other cam and your arrow won't fly level. Make sense?

I don't understand her use of the word "timing". She appears to be positioning the cams. Timing has nothing to do with it.

A really important adjustment for a twin cam bow. This video is clear, straight to the point, and removes all the voodoo associated with cam timing. I had to take 9 full turns out of my control cable, but boy did it fix things. The wall is now well defined, and makes the bow feel much sweeter. Many thanks.

No a single cam bow does not need to be timed.

in some ways yes, you don't check the tiller on single cam bows. You do have to make sure the cam is in time to get the full rotation out of it
