@alistairkok - Couldn't agree more. Skating is about flow, speed - the point is too look effortless. The new footwork requirements in the sport bring people almost to a standstill.

Now THAT was a footwork sequence (Sandra Bezic: "Watch her Fly")! There's excitement, speed and flow, unlike these slow, meandering, directionless and disjuncted footwork sequences that we see in competitive programs today under the new COP. The new step sequences may garner points, but they don't flow with the programs and seem forced and awkward.

Starting around 3:33....that footwork kicked my ass!

Not a very high leg on the spiral, but extended beautifully and held for a very pleasing length of time, not to mention the leg was turned OUT like it's supposed to be. A gorgeous program, with great spins and jumps.

@roldanpinsky I wouldn't say horrible. I thought the loop was lovely. The lutz and toe loop were a bit hairy though. Everything else she does is just beautiful.

Wow! That was so delightful. Her skating is beautiful and her personality is charming. What a joyful performance! Thanks for posting!
One of the BEST performances in the history of figure skating, pro or amateur.

Only a skater like Yuka can afford to perform with such a simple choreography with her superb skating, lines and joy.
