Should I play side one of Dark Side of the Moon to this one?

@tkhushrenada I don't remember, but I don't think so. Thx though. What about "Battle of the Bulge" (1965), using US M46 Patton as German tanks? hehehe.

Was it The Devil's Brigade? That's a main offender for American passing off as German

Peter Falk as Cpl Ravanoff (RIP)

@deusirae76 I hear ya. I forget what movie, but in it they had the wrong type of tanks, but kind doctored them up a little to at least partially look like German tanks. They like......added/put something over the gun barrel, added stuff (probably wood & or light sheet metal) to the turret, sides, etc. Granted you could still tell, but it looked much more realistic They were Tigers BTW. Damn, now until I remember, I'll be rack'n my brain trying to remember the film! LOL. I HATE that! :-)~

@gjc82071 True, there are only 10 remaining in museums, but still, it's just plain ridiculous.
-
@deusirae76 They were probably short on Pzkwf VI's @ the time. :-)
-
@gjc82071 True, I'm still waiting for a serious movie about the battle of Monte Cassino ...

@InfidelAdvocate Another ridiculous example is The Battle of the Bulge, they used freakin Patton M47 tanks mocked up as Pzkwf VI Königstigers
@InfidelAdvocate It's common to use whatever equipment/items(such as tanks or guns) that are easy to get when making movies. So much WW 2-era gear was destroyed shortly after the war, and using whatever is available is much cheaper than trying to find accurate items most of the time as well. Example: American AT-6 planes have been painted like Japanese planes and used in movies for years because they are easier to find than original Zeros.

Clark made numerous mistakes, some rather amateurish in nature. I call it like it is & can back my position with facts. Give credit where it's due. The real genius of this battle was Albert Kesselring. Although outnumbered, with insufficient armor & airplanes, he made the invasion very costly for the allies, surrounded them, held them, & even made the Allies abandon any hope of liberating Europe via Italy, who instead shifting their focus to Normandy. Germany had some brilliant generals.
