This is one of my all-time favorite 'on air fights' between a reporter and the anchorman in-studio. This is from a local New York broadcast live a few years ago.

@philaboston i dont think that he said nasty things to him, but i do admit that what he said shouldn't have been said on tv. However, the fault lies with the reporter, who started to sling dirt at the news anchor because the news anchor asked him to do his job.

@Alandalus105 I agree. Still, the man in power, sitting all comfortable in the newsroom, totally trashes the old beat reporter. Nasty stuff and i side with the old beat reporter.

The old prick in studio is probably banging every broad that walks in the newsroom so he feels he has to talk down to the old washed up field reporter to show off how cool he is.

The guy in the studio was a prick. It's goofy local news, not a 60 Minutes interview of a President for fuck sake.

Every time he says "you were my boss once but no longer, how did that happen?", i cringe. I actually felt really bad for the old reporter. He clearly isnt the reporter he used to be and the news anchor is jerk for taking advantage of the old reporter's ability to stay sharp.
