She is definitely among the top five (or better) of he 20th century!

@lewashcliffe Yes... certainly in the top 3. Hmm... few commercial recordings exist... it takes a good deal of effort and time to discover her... Known as "La Diva Turca" (The Turkish Diva) and "La Regina" (The Queen) in the opera world...
Industry, Callas and Tebaldi seem to have relegated her...

One of the most beautiful arias in the entire soprano repertoire, sung so wonderfully by one of the most beautiful soprano voices of the last 50 years. Thank you for this recording.
