  • @poulsontheprick Yes, in fact we do. And we know how to spell as well.

  • @poulsontheprick Well, we deeply apologize for having a different taste in music than you.

  • @Hammy370 How the fuck do you know what i earn ?You cheeky little cunt.If you look up to this uncoordinated slab of putrifaction then its no wonder you are as clueless about music as you appear to be.I live in an affluent part of Eire and i have a swimming pool in my conservatory; so keep guessing fannybollocks !!!!

  • @poulsontheprick yes they do. and he makes more money than you could ever think of making. so lots of people pay to see this. chum. fool.

  • Do people relly PAY to go see this ?

  • @thesopranosrules seriously no one who looked up this cover really gives a shit. i LOVE this song and this cover;if you dont like it then get the fuck out of this area of utube!

  • @Ka1idurga Naw, I don't buy it. I think there are other, more plausible explanations, but this is far fetched. That is like saying when Will Shade says, "She stabbed me with the ice-pick," that he's actually talking about Jim Crow. If you want to listen to political commentary in pre-war blues, there are plenty of great songs (both veiled in entendre and blatent), this one is about pimping, like it or not.

  • @nichmars The thing you need to bear in mind about the old blues tunes is that the lyrics were often directed, in a very veiled manner, towards the white overseers, sheriff's deputies, prison wardens, etc, who oppressed the African-American population. It may sound as if that southern can is a woman, but Willie could actually be singing about wanting to beat the crap out of some over-bearing cap'n. Think about it.

  • @thesopranosrules piss off

  • love love jack white! And It's BECAUSE of him that I am discovering some old blues artist! Like....this man blind willie mctell. thank you jack!
