Coast to Coast AM interview that took place on February 24, 2000, between Art Bell and Seth Shostak of SETI. Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) is the collective name for a number of activities to detect intelligent extraterrestrial life. The general approach of SETI projects is to survey the sky to detect the existence of transmissions from a civilization on a distant planet.

  • @lukeslandspeeder The Square Kilometer Array will help the search a lot. It will help map the distribution of amino acids around nearby stars and be 50 times more sensitive than currently possible. That is scheduled to be fully operating by 2024 so that's why they may predict getting a good signal by 2025. The ones that say they have a good signal already are incorrect because everyone would know about the first good signal within a few days after finding it.

  • hàppy new yeàr :)

  • what happens?

well with the last 20 or so signals that came from deep space that are on videos on here of the actual signal recordings they then say we got a signal!. and it looks good, and it also seems to be coming from out there a long ways away.. then thats it... nothing more. ..

then a new video appears saying we will pick up a good signal by 2025... thats what. look at the seti signals already featured on here.
