  • DONT make the mistake to think shoulder rotation is what gives u power. watch closely the nice shots chosen here. the shoulder turns to be in the best position from the loop to the follow through. between the non hitting arm been moved away to the end of the shot the shoulder are barely STILL (barely, because u have to absorb not used energy and u have to manage ur balance too) to have precision

    what gives them effortless power is that "wave" that comes from feets to racket head, nothing else.

  • nice analysis. it makes their FH fluent, effortless. it "transfers" weight dynamics from feet to body to shoulders to wrist to head of racket.

    that is the secret for heavy shots without beeing armed : keep it smooth.

    one thing to point out too is that they hit ball far and +/- in front of them. and the ready position with racket not sitcked to body is the key for natural distance and angle.
