  • Yes, the Van Eps triads. This is how I am reworking my harmonic knowledge. GVE's traids give you some much more mileage than stock 'voicings'. One this to remember is that this technique is dependent on harmonic movement, not the voicing itself. Each not of each triad acts like it's own melodic line, nothing is unintentionally static.
