Split is an Alternative / Garage / Grunge band from Mumbai,India.they are a bunch of good friends, a quintet of drinking buddies, and musicians that know how to floor a tune. Split was formed in 2001 and, after the usual rock 'n' roll roulette of line-up changes, broken strings, lost equipment and assorted mishaps, settled on the perfect formula for chaos. With Garreth on vocals, Mel and Aviv on guitars, Shekhar on bass and Nigel on drums, Split's music has conquered stages, hearts, and minds across the country. Split's music is equally about conflict and resolution. A slick construction of wit and drunken wisdom, with baritone bass and pounded drums that chase edgy guitar riffs and screaming solos right down to a breakdown of nuclear proportions. The themes range from the epic to the mundane; from slimy evangelists to train travel, from revolution to becoming "adult", and from existential angst to the eternal favorite -- a broken heart. I don't have the copyright for this track or the photographs but this being one of my favorite track i would like to share it

split is underrated man!! :( .....it deserves a lot more than blakc.......blakc's guitars sounds too DESI.....and it would have sounded shit without the modulation effects.. in fact whole of blakc is based on modulation effects!..split makes REAL music..nothing artificial..love the song :)
