man I just returned my HDX1000 (exact same hardware and firmware as Popcorn hour) I wasted the entire day trying to configure it with YAMJ so that it would show my movie catalog with dvd art and info. I just ordered a refurbed Mac mini 1.83ghz that will run PLEX. Which does everything and more.
Not a fan of popcorn hour. Looking forward to PLEX.. Since you have a mac book pro, you have to try it out if you haven't already

Hardware can handle it.
Software could handle it.
but, the guys from popcorn have no blue-ray license (too expensive). So, it didn´t work. Until a hack or something else comes out =)

Where did you buy this thing and how much does it cost? And which model is it? Does it work with a SMB share on a linux server?
