my background is of Iranian descent and speak farzee and urdu...and at the time of all the great muslim actors of India the spoken language was urdu a derivative of arabic,farzee.

@MrChiptatum actually, she's a Pathan and at the time of her birth, the North-West Frontier was part of a united India, so you can call Mumtaz Indian. The Pathans are also known as Pashtun/Pukhtun/Afghan. Also, just about Iranian, but you . Apparently both my dad and I pass off as an Iranian even though I'm Indian. It's a common mistake that people make.
