Two amazing models, one made out of 30 units and the other 120 units.

The video shows how to make the Truncated Isocahedron but also shows how to put the units together.
The only reason I didn't put in how to make the Great Stellated Dodecahedron in video form is because it is just so much easier to make. In the video it does say that you need to make 5 unit rings all of the way across the model and that you need 6 unit rings surrounding 5 unit rings. ,(Separate Models),

  • This is one of the clearest videos I have seen on how to make these models. I think that what would make this video so much better is if you removed the music and told use step by step on how to do it, or even text on the screen.

  • @caseyedds11 I may do that, but the thing is, I have a terrible voice... watch my tutorial on the origami crane and you will see... I think text is a much better idea and I have noticed the problem you have told me about already... I have a video with music but with added text. It is my latest video to date, (19/11/2010), and is called how to make an origami gyroscope. This has over 100 views and has been up for a couple of weeks! Thank you for your advice =)

  • If you have got 15cm x 15cm paper. Cut that into quarters so that you end up with 4 sheets of 7.5cm x 7.5cm paper per 1 ,15cm sheet. Origami paper is thinner than usual paper. I just took a sheet of a4 and cut that into a square, then 4 more squares from that. Origami paper is better

Then I would make the small, 30 piece model so that you don't waste too much paper if you get it wrong. If you still have any patience left in you, go make the big one. But be warned, it took me 2 weeks to make!

  • @itsmeordadog witch one do you recommend

  • @itsmeordadog I bought 15 by 15 origami paper is it ok or what did u use

  • Dont worry, I always reply to comments. I made both models.

  • @itsmeordadog witch one did u make please reply

  • I think next time you should show it with colored paper, because then it'd be easier to tell the different sides apart.

  • thx

  • wow
