Before and after Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery for treatment of my early-onset Parkinson's disease. This surgery was performed at the San Francisco VA hospital in July, 2008. The final outcome saw a decrease in my (Christopher Herron) ability to speak but the tremor control and reduction of dyskinetic movements (the head wobbling which was a side-effect of medication) remained. All in all, I am pleased with the outcome.
