@aspensubi28 The traction control only controls acceleration. No deceleration. So turning it ON/OFF does not affect the ABS at all.
The ABS will always be ON. Using the eBrake is kind of dangerous since you can go into a spin without really looking for it.

just wondering.. if u slide to much doesnt ur air brake take over and locks your wheels? and if it doesnt how did u avoid it?

@FallenInfidel What do you mean by air brake?? Do you mean the ABS?
The Impreza has a button to remove the traction control. If you push it, the car will let you slide. If not, the car will fight you to keep the car aligned and in control.
The ABS cannot be deactivated on the WRX (only on the STI) but it only starts working when braking.
