I saw this too... I was on the beach at Surfers Paradise, at some ungodly hour, and this exact same thing was hovering in the sky... It was about the size of a big full moon, and it slowly moved from the horizon to almost directly above me before blinking out, leaving 'smoke rings' behind where those rings are... I know this footage is real, and thankyou for posting it. Been trying to describe it for years now and as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
