They did NOT want the two State Solution. But deemed that the Jews should remain as Zimmis. Then Jordan occupied the future Palestinian State and granted the people who lived there Jordanian citizenship. But after they lost the war in '67 the revoked it and left your Arab 'brothers' in a state of limbo.
