Re: Thermodynamics and an Intelligent Designer

Join me on my journey of words. I was a bit rushed with this video but I really wanted to make a video response.

Now Mattea19841984, if you find poetic beauty in the universe, and that beauty convinces you of God then I can't argue with that. My physics teacher is the exact same way. But the thing is, and my teacher agrees, is that is subjective evidence, not objective. When you look at the universe you see beauty that convinces you of God, when I look I see beauty as well, but not the God part. Different subjective interpretation, which I have no problem with, it would be silly to attempt to begin a argument or debate. It would be the same as you saying that Rocky Road was your favorite ice-cream and me saying you are wrong.

The problem comes in when you attempt to claim your perception as objective evidence.

Enthropy?????

There's Enthalpy and Entropy.

Disorder is a matter of perspective. Entropy is more so related to the number of microstates of a certain definite situation.

I don't think that assumptions can be avoided. We cannot make an unassuming claim about the future. The idea that we must see it to believe it is a fault of ours because we must be able to make reasonable claims about the unknown. Even the 2nd law of thermo... is in essence an assumption. A very valid one but still one.

If the gods exist they would find a way to let us know some how. Odd how they haven't found a way so far.
