LOL, there are some christian undertones in the Matrix, but in between all the other masonic and gnostic undertones, the christian ones are used to hide the former from the sheeple.

Do some research about masonic and gnostic symbolism in films and esp[ecially the Matrix and your eyes about the true intentions of the film and tv industry will be opened.

Well remember there are about as many gnosticisms as there are gnostics to believe them. So you can have gnosticisms that are wildly heretical, some that are not at all and others that are everywhere in between. All gnosticism means is "gnosis" -knowledge. Basically it's religious views based on esoteric knowledge -and if that knowledge happens to simply be figuring out why Xianity is true from "behind the scenes" it isn't necessarily heretical.
