Wonderful job. Nice twist with the percussion.

@doodlesandnoodles Well, it certainly would be nice to see and hear that this performance receives the same respect and appreciation as the other performances. Applause length could easily have been edited down or prolonged and inserted, as on many PBS performances. But cutting it out before even a peep is made is denying it any show of appreciation whatsoever. But I do respect your point.

Maybe because the applause would go on for too long? At the past ASO Christmas concerts they have to put the Hallelujah after this and we have to wait a good bit for the applause to die down before continuing.

i love this song, and the percussion is awesome, maybe its just me, but i fellt like the percussion was too loud, but its just my opinion and everyone has a different one :)
I performed this song is an SATB mixed voice chorus with singers from all races; however, Morehouse's version has always been the definitive standards for all other choruses to live up to. No other choir comes close! NONE!

I heard this song every year at Christmas time at the Robert Shaw Christmas concerts from the time I was a little kid. It never failed to give me goosebumps, and somehow Christmas isn't quite Christmas until I can hear it. Thank you so much.
