  • Thanks Lauren, its an ash body guitar??

  • yes

  • what's the config of this guitar??very good sound.

  • DiMarzio tone zone humbucker in the bridge, Seymour Duncan duckbucker in the center, DiMarzio twang king in the neck position, plus a bartolini preamp. You were hearing the twang king through a Danelectro Nifty 70 bass amp.

  • Great ! You keep it coming! The beggining makes it all the more fun and human. You've watched J. Smith's version, i take it, from the intro?

  • Actually I didn't know JS played the intro like that, that's cool, but I was 12 when I got this arrangement from my guitar teacher, Lou Sabini & he knew for sure. We loved Johnny Smith & Lou always lent me his albums to get to hear really great guitar playing. He also lent, Buddy Fite & Howard Roberts & on & on. Great great stuff! I look forward to watching JS version now. When I was 12 there was no utube or video oy! Thanks for writing.

  • YAY!!!(sound of thunderous applause)

  • Wow, great touch and pick control her. I love your tone, I never knew that a Tele solid body model could be so damn warm. Makes me shiver. Sounds like you had an amazing first guitar teacher. Post some more of your play, please.

  • I have the song in a jazz fake book in A minor so I watched your introduction. It took me about 10 minutes to get it clean. Hope you don't mine. Thanks
