  • there was a Chevrolet show during the Mum Fest weekend this past fall in New Bern, NC where I live. They had this exact car there for the show. I got a couple of pictures with it, but it was very cool, and it looked VERY fast!

  • @FloatingXDonut i wish they would make a street version of this car. check out supervettes here on youtube. they will be making a variation of this for the street soon.

  • Dear Santa can you plz give me the car in this movie!! i promies i will be nice the hole year.=)

  • @Insane2487 i like the gaudy look of very wide fenders. and i like the look of front engine. and the 446 BHP version gets 26 MPG. that is efficient enough for me. and all you would be needed is some body modifications. no matter what anyone else tells you, it is NOT expensive to modify a Corvette body.

  • @ftldrdl True very true no need for that much HP, looks nice but I wouldn't spend the money. I'ld spend it in my DSM... Better gas mileage and just as many thrills but with AWD.

  • @Insane2487 i have a video of one of these on line with YouTube now. it was at last year's Sebring. but the body work is not the same as the race version, close but no cigar. i really don't care if it has a gazillion horsepower. 500 is really enough. i just want the appearance of the race car's body work.

  • @ftldrdl If you like, GM can make you an 8.2L All motor Corvette C6RS. To own one on top of the price of your corvette lookin at bout the same price to own a GT1 model lol. BUT, you get hand stitched leather interior better suspension, better traction, more carbon fiber, lower to the ground and it makes 600bhp and 600 lbs of torque.

  • @ShizoluckyShizostar bare in mind that GM is by and far larger and wealthier than any of the others you listed. so it follows they can spend more money on their race cars. as for the street cars, it is a matter of what you like. that is why there are so many different types.

  • @ftldrdl I get the point, but it's irrelevant. If you have a race team and wish to buy a GTE class race car, your wallet's better off if you go for a 458 GT, or 997 RSR. Ironically C6.R ZR1 and M3 GT are the priciest race cars in their class.

  • @ShizoluckyShizostar this is the racing version and is not for sale to the public. it is based on the ZR1 Corvette which is priced around $125,000.00 to $135,000.00 depending on the options chosen. so it is cheaper than all of the ones you listed.
