  • I think his report of the building collapsing shows a great deal of genuine humanness. It's difficult to believe the WTC could ever collapse, let alone, that USA would be under attack all in 2-3 hours one ordinary morning.

He can't understand or even talk about the entire building ceasing to exist, he has expressed what every American and non-American was thinking and feeling that morning. Have some compassion, he's not a robot.

  • @TeamNewAngeles Keep in mind that these news anchors are human too and not just robots designed to report the news. Also take into account that they are in a crowded, confined, and busy newsroom. In the earlier videos you can hear Peter Jennings complain about not being able to see the live feed and that is why they didn't see the collapse right when it happened.

  • ABC's was the coverage I saw. Peter Jennings was fine.

  • I get most sad when I think about members of the rescue teams who died :( they are heroes

  • wow, you could see that getting ready to go & then the weight became too much. That was molten metal pouring out of that corner right before it gave out. so many people died in that moment, the suffering ended for the people above the impact.

  • @broadwaybroad Sophmore year for me. We didn't know anything happened until they announced that seniors weren't allowed to leave the building for lunch, and that was only the second period of the day.

  • the news reporter so dumb as fuck

" ahh is is this? OH a smake"

  • I've watched several major news stations' coverage of 9/11, and this one made the greatest impression, because it is the most human. This was also the coverage that I watched live in 6th grade, when by some chance my teacher turned on the TV for the daily school announcements and saw channel 7 instead. It was 8:55, so we saw the South Tower get hit, the Pentagon situation unfold a few miles away, the South Tower collapse... it eluded description.

  • Is there any chance of uploading Part 8 at any time in the future?

  • I was in my freshman year of high school watching this in, of all classes, American Government. One minute we're learning about American history, the next minute we're living it.
