This is Olive, our 8 week old Dobermann puppy from Jasburg Dobermanns. This is her first day home. She is so laid back and confident and is settling in so well in her new home and loves toys and visitors, she is showing so much promise. If you are thinking of getting a Dobermann, please make sure you buy one from a responsible breeder where the parents are health tested for hereditery diseases and have been hip-scored, this will improve the breed. There is some excellent advice on the breeder's website. Check it out: www.jasburgdobermanns.co.uk

  • @Zaelin2k8 Guess what. You're the idiot. This breed was designed by Herr Dobermann with a docked tail and cropped ears for a reason. this is not what they're SUPPOSED to look like! Of course in the UK it's not allowed. But I'm sure u don't mind spaying or castrating!

  • @gsdsteve I find genital mutilation on boys as well as ear and tail mutilation on dogs cruel.

  • Interesting how Doberman puppies and short-haired Dachshind puppies look somewhat alike.

  • A proper doberman is supposed to have a docked tail and cropped ears, breed standard. They're beautiful with cropped ears and docked tails :) How they're meant to look.

  • your penis smells like dog food, is what the puppy is telling me. you into your fetish's then ?

  • @CLloyd310 Thats your opinion, based purely on what you're used to. I think natural dobes look MUCH better. I can't help but look at a cropped and docked dog and just see an animal with amputations. It doesn't sit well on the eye. Its looking at an animal with bits cut off. Give me natural ANY day. I wouldn't crop or dock for any amount of money.

  • @georgebaggy There isn't a single 'natural' canine in the wild without a tail, either, but you don't seem to have a problem chopping them off. You make no sense. Floppy ears are bad because they're not seen in nature, but tails ARE seen in nature yet its alright to chop them off? Double standards used purely to justify cosmetic surgery which is all about appearance. How does having its ears and tail cut off make a doberman a better companion and personal protector? It doesn't.

  • @SuperDrRockzo Good for you.

  • @Albanianking92 Thanks for the information

  • @Albanianking92 There is not a single thing "natural" about a Doberman, or any domestic dog for that matter. Dogs in the wild don't have floppy ears, it's a trait bred into hounds over many generations to improve their sense of smell (the ears waft the smell into their noses as they run). Dobermans are not bred to be hounds, they are bred to be guard dogs and companions, thus the cropping of the ears and docking of the tail. Jesus Christ you need to be less ignorant

  • @gsdsteve if its ment to not have a tail and ears it wouldent have them its a cosmetic thing we humans make our dogs go thru because we wont them to look how we want them to look not how nature intended.
