Police search environmental protester's room

In the UK police are allowed to search the homes of people arrested for material "relating to the alleged crime". Here police let slip that the real purpose of the search is to collect evidence "of his views" and seize material such as freely available magazines and letters for police intelligence purposes.

I'm actually surprised they allowed you to film them whilst they searched your home. Disgraceful how most of the UK (even most of the world I would assume) are indifferent on how the police manipulate law and the population into thinking that actions such as these are justified. Scary to think that there is no way you can immediately legally defend yourself against these wolves. Kudos have having the courage to film and post this on the internet.
