The crew of the Motorhome Diaries was able to visit with one of our biggest supporters when we returned to Jones County to hold the Sheriff's deputies accountable for their crimes. Jill Wright had been sending us money to fill our tank with gasoline before we even met her and certanly before we were kidnapped, put in chains and locked in a cage in her home county. Like the other residents of Jones County that we met, Jill is a super-kind person who deserves a much better protection agency than their current Sheriff's Department. When criminals have badges is doesn't keep anyone safe and undermines their mission to keep people safe.

They arrested civil rights protesters in the 60's too. Funny the Supreme court gave us "Separate but equal" schools for Black Children, and thinks the "you can't search people" amendment actually means "you can search anyone, anywhere, anytime, and beat them, pepper spray them, and taze them to death if you want. with no warrant. or probable cause or reason." If they don't find you innocent on all charges, sue them into the poor house. (although, jones county already looks pretty abandoned)
