RIP Barbaro. at least on the racetrack of Heaven you can run all you want and never be in pain

you are severely missed and will never be forgotten

  • I was watching him from my country, and became a big fan.

Every year i visit the Florida Derby, and 2006 was special. I remember i told my girlfriend 'can you smell that air, we are in the same air as Barbaro'. She laughed and told me i was nuts. That day Barbaro won ofcourse, and he gave me the chills...

My adamsapple got squeezed in my throat when i heard the news.

There was something about that horsey...

  • so heartbreaking. I cried

  • aww thats so sad it made me cry

  • Poor Barbaro. He was great, a very gifted horse with a lot of guts.

His Derby was the first time I`d ever seen the KY Derby. I bet he`s proud of his little brothers. Nicanor coming back from a bone bruise and possibly making his 4 year old debut in a few months. Lentenor starting to run big races and possibly making it to the Derby. A beautiful yearling brother and La Ville Rouge is going to be bred back to Dynaformer this year.

    RIP Barbaro.

  • This part of all of it made me cry an the ending was just so touching the things they said about him an what he could of became. I belive he would of went on to win and he would still be alive today. he was a true champion he loved eeryting he did an everyone around him. he will never be forgotten he truly was an inspiration an a nations hero. Long live Barbaro. <3333

  • Very poignant words in the last 30 seconds, "April 20, 2007...Roy and Gretchen Jackson welcome the birth of a healthy colt, He is the Brother of Barbaro, The 136th Kentucky Derby is May 1, 2010..."

Bravo Lentenor for your amazing victory yesterday, Your Big Brother's are very proud!

  • At the end of this it made me cry the music in the backround was just so touching an the things that they were saying about him it made me tear up a little..He was an amazing horse that did alot and will never be forgotten there will never be another horse like him that showed that much love an courage an to fight to live. R.I.P Barbaro.
