1938. Italian Foreign Minister Galeazzo Ciano, in Munich to sign the "Pact of Steel" with Hitler's Germany. Ciano is received at the Munich railway station (and later in Berchtesgaden) by German Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop.
