they weren't fighting muslim armies because they were muslim, we were fighting them because they were protecting a country that was harbering terrorists, and protecting countries that had oil fields. they weren't fighting against muslims either, it was a war on afghanistan and iraq, two countries, not the muslim world... and they arn't zionists, they didn't even go near isreal...
why would you care if jesus arose again anyway? and why would declaring war on afghanistan make jesus come back??

if you want to claim that religion can bring pece, that it can inspire people to do good things, you have to let religion take credit for the actions it inspires within people. If people donate money to charity in the nam of religion, then religion should take part of the credit for that act, as it was religion that inspired that goodness in that person. but.... unfortunatly that means that if people do bad things in the name of religion, then religion has to take the blame for these actions too

as far as i'm aware, one priest killed a bunch of people who took refuge in his church or something, correct me if i'm wrong. That means we're not talking about 1 million people, probably 100 at most, and he wasn't acting in the name of his religion, he was just a sick bastard. This is the point you seem to fail to grasp, people do bad things all the time, muslims, christians, atheists, it's human nature, but when it's in the name of religion that religion has to accept some of the blame.
