HI, not from the USA so sorry for ignorance of this comment, but I don't think a lone gunman could do it.  That aside, and on to another discussion, does it matter how many shooters there where? clearly there was a conspiracy to kill the president and that it was successful, sadly. What difference does it mean 1 or more (other than there's a killer that didnt get caught)?

Thanks for your unique perspective. Sometimes it takes someone from outside the US to understand that assassination conspiracies, & coups can ( & DO ) happen everywhere. Here in the US, we sometimes get arrogent, & believe that we don't have the corruption that other countries experience.

Yep. They're magicians. They're carnies. They're showmen. They also know how to misdirect your attention so they can do something else. That comes in handy when you're revealing how something could, in fact, happen.

Yes. Let's move on to the next argument. They shattered the belief that you can't fire off three shots in 5.6 seconds. He did it in 4.5 without the marine training Oswald had. Get over yourself: you're wrong.

@andrewcrow Amazing how so many can accept this demo as anything but a grossly simplistic distortion, which proves nothing. I find that Jesse Ventura took the time & effort to more completely reproduce condtions for the assassination. He also, as a former Navy Seal, is a much more credible investigator than a person who spent years training in the art of deception.

They were not dealing with everything. They demonstrate certain aspects of the crime that are often in dispute. Many conspiracy theorists claim that Oswald couldn't have fired that quickly. Clearly he COULD have it. The issue was NOT the geometry of the shots. That's ANOTHER issue! The reason they didn't look at the "many factors" you mentioned is because they were only addressing a single aspect. You have to concede, that it's TRUE that many theorists claim he couldn't shoot that quickly.

What "details" are Penn & Teller leaving out? They were able to simulate the shooting in *less than half* the time that Oswald had. The FIRST shot was through the tree and it MISSED! so that doesn't influence the time! Penn's jet-effect demonstration has been recreated numerous times by others. What are they going to use if not mellons? Shoot at a live human being? You are the one being "overly simplistic"! No wonder your video rating is 833-53 AGAINST!

@dahlgutz What you have to realize is that while Penn and Teller are in fact well-versed in the art of *visual* deception, they also adhere to a philosophy of intellectual honesty. During their live shows, they outrightly tell the audience that any dangerous stunts are only made to *seem* dangerous, because they believe truly putting lives in danger is wrong.

Their deception is meant to make a deeper point. To reveal a truth.

To intentionally "distort" the truth goes against this in every way.

There were 4 US presidents that I can recall that were assassinated or an assassinations was attempted. In only one case was it ever a conspiracy which was good ol' Abe. The conspirators were of a rival party back then called Wig. As for JFK no evidence says there was a conspiracy or that Lee wasn't alone. At least no circumstantial evidence.

@dahlgutz im in the middle of watching the video now. I have however seen the Ventura version of events. First of all Ventura was not a SEAL, he was UDT. Very similar but not the same thing.  Second, its hard to take stock in any of Ventura's "conspiracy theories" because of the way things are obviously edited out of context and his opinions are beyod predetermined. That said, I do believe there was a conspiracy to kill JFK.

First off history channel has proved all the facts including the one that the other government official was also a target. That's why three shots were fired. First one hit the government official went through the windshield. Second one went through his neck which could have severed muscle and third through his head. So conspiracy theorists are you going to go up to everyone who was there that day and tell them what they saw was a lie because if you weren't there you do not have the right to. Yo

There is a picture in Post magazine of Oswald watching the parade - him and Kennedy are in the same photograph. Quite clearly. Btw, The bullets found by Tibbets did not match the rifle. The Zapruder film was doctored, the brains and blood disappear and do not cover the car. There was a bullet hole in the windshield. Lots and lots of simple facts tear apart the Owald story.

Another fact they left out, btw. Is that JFK's head clearly moves downward towards his chest in Zapuder frames 312 to 314 (time of impact). His head goes violently back only after it explodes. If there were other shooters, they all missed, because all of Oswald's bullets were accounted for. What's mind boggling is 90% of the american public believe there was a conspiracy. When you consider 90% of whats been written a/b the assassination has been pro-nutbag. Well, there you go.
